Who’s watched the first three episodes of @daisyjonesandthesix and wants to chat about it?! I obsessed this book and even with the slight differences I am enjoying the adaption. Camila is definitely my favorite casting, the portrayal is SPOT ON. Is it Friday yet because I need episode 4.
I learned today that Detective Annalisa Vega will be back August 2023 and I could not be more excited. I devoured Book 1 and impatiently await Book 2 to arrive in my mailbox. What are you currently reading?
🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆: As a fan of the StarTalk podcast, I had to get my hands on the in-depth answers from Neil deGrasse Tyson’s book COSMIC QUERIES. And it will come as no surprise that I, and probably the universe 😉, consider Neil to be one of the greatest physicists to exist. This book is packed with information on the vast universe above us—with stunning-colored photos peppered throughout—and appeal to younger and adult readers as it is written in an easy to understand manner. There is a lot to digest in its 289 pages, but Neil always has a way of making science enjoyable to read. An easy must read for all those curious about our place in the universe.
Ever find a book you forgot you owned? Moving my bookshelves have unearthed many for me but I was drawn to this one. Now months later, it’s become my current read in anticipation for Book 2 due out in August!
Ooo @sunnys_shelf tagged me in the CREEPIEST BOOK COVER challenge! I figured I’d bring it back to the OGs that spooked me back in my elementary school years 💀
🔥REVIEW: What a creative web Jennifer McMahon can weave. Every time there is just enough spook factor to makes you want to look over your shoulder. I really enjoyed the alternating timeframe giving the reader the main character perspective from adulthood and childhood. Jennifer really laid out the back story while leaving just enough mystery until the end. And that ending was very unexpected and utterly satisfying! I was waiting for this story to take an unrealistic turn and instead was given a conclusion that left me hopeful.
